The sections that follow describe the tasks that are required before you begin the integration. Do not omit any of the required tasks. Omitting these tasks could prevent your integration from working properly.

About this task

Before getting started, complete the following steps:

  1. These instructions assume that you installed Maximo IT, TADDM, and Integration Composer.
  2. If you currently have any data in your target database, back up that database.
  3. If Integration Composer is running, close all open windows and sign out of the application.
