Creating new KPI graphs

Use this procedure to create a new KPI graph.

About this task

To create a new KPI graph, complete the following tasks:

1. From the Start Center, click Go To > Administration > Reporting > KPI Manager.
2. In the KPI Manager window, click the create new KPI icon.
3. Type a name an description for the KPI.
4. Select the calculation type.
5. Type the SQL query in the Select and Where text boxes.
6. Specify a value for the target, caution level, and alert level in the appropriate fields.
7. Click Save.

Results

Now, if you click the List tab and run the appropriate query, the new KPI will be listed in the results.
