Types of IT asset management data that you can integrate

Maximo IT can receive different types of IT asset management data. The IT data can be imported from discovery and system management tool databases.

To facilitate the import process, you can use the integration framework applications in Maximo IT or Integration Composer. Both integration tools are provided with Maximo IT.

Table 1 shows some of the data sources that integrate with Maximo IT, the types of IT asset data that you can import from them, and the integration tools used.

Note: While the integration framework supports two-way data exchange with many external systems, the table describes only the key integrations designed for use with Maximo IT.
