Specifying alternate persons for notifications and workflows

To ensure availability, you can specify alternate persons for notifications and workflow assignments.

About this task

You can specify alternate persons for each primary member in the person group. Each primary member can have one or more alternate persons.

Procedure

  1. In the Person Groups application, select the person group for whose members you want to specify alternates.
  2. In the People table window, select the person for whom you want to specify alternate persons.
  3. In the Alternates For table window, click New Row to add alternate persons.
  4. Specify a person identifier.
    When you enter the person identifier, the following information is displayed: name of the person, the calendar, and shift information.
  5. In the Sequence field, specify a numeric value to indicate the assignment sequence for the person.
  6. Save your changes.
