Modifying dialogs in the Application Designer

Dialogs that are contained in application XML can be modified in the Application Designer.

Before you begin

If the dialog window is contained in the system library.xml file, it can not be modified in the Application Designer. See the Application Designer application help for more information on modifying dialogs.

About this task

This procedure applies to dialog windows that are contained in the Offering application. If the dialog window you wish to modify is not available in the Edit Dialogs window, it is probably a system dialog contained in library.xml and can not be modified in the Application Designer.

Procedure

  1. Open the application in the Application Designer.
  2. Click the Workspace tab.
  3. Click the Edit Dialogs icon.
  4. Select the dialog you wish to modify.
    The dialog window is displayed in the Workspace for editing.
  5. Modify the dialog window as required for your business needs.
  6. Click Save.

Results

The dialog is modified and saved.
