Working with automation scripts

You can create an automation script with an action launch point to facilitate the development of re-usable actions, that can be configured for use in different object contexts (for example, workorders, tickets). An action launch point associates a script with an action and executes when the specified action occurs.

Use the Actions application to configure the associated action. Parameter mappings for the script are specified in the launch point variables.
