Electronic signatures for workflow assignments

When setting up workflow assignments, you can require that users who perform tasks provide an electronic signature when they complete a task.

By default the product is configured to allow electronic signatures for workflow assignments for the following applications:
  • Changes
  • Service Requests
  • Releases
To implement this feature and to require an electronic signature for a specific workflow assignment, administrators must modify the task node of the workflow to specify that an electronic signature is needed for that task in the workflow.

You can configure electronic signatures for additional applications by adding the ITDWFESIG signature option for electronic signatures to an application and selecting the E-signature Enabled check box for the signature option.
