Electronic signatures, audit records, and login tracking

Electronic signature verification, electronic audit records, and login tracking features help you comply with audit and regulatory requirements.

You can use the following features to comply with regulatory requirements:
Login tracking
Login tracking lets administrators view the number of login attempts and displays the current login status of the user.
Electronic signature verification
Electronic signature verification requires users to provide credentials and to give a reason for changes before they can change records. It ensures that the person who saves a record, changes a record, or accesses a specific action is the person who logged in.
Electronic audit records
Electronic audit records track changes to records, keep copies of the changes, and produce an audit trail. The electronic auditing function writes audit records to the database tables. The audit tables are configured for each business object that is enabled for auditing.

You define electronic signatures and audit records at the system level, so they apply to all organizations and sites.

You must enable login tracking to use electronic signatures.
