Working with the Item Master application

From the Software Catalog application you can use existing software catalog records to create items in the Item Master application. The newly defined software items can be stocked in storerooms, and referred to on a work orders or in an Item Assembly Structures. You can also link existing Item Master items to software in the software catalog. Doing so ensures that critical steps (like obtaining a license) get included as part of another process (like procurement).
