Finding IT assets associated with purchase orders

Use the Advanced Search feature in the Assets application to search for IT assets that are associated with a purchase order.

Procedure

  1. On the List tab in the Assets application, click Advanced Search.
  2. In the Advanced Search menu, select More Search Fields.
  3. In the More Search Fields window, in the PO field, click the Detail Menu and select one of the following options:
    • In the Select Value dialog box, select the purchase order for which you want to view associated assets, and click OK.
    • Select Go to Purchase Orders, in the Purchase Orders application select the purchase order for which you want to view assets, and click Return with Value in the navigation bar.
  4. In the More Search Fields window, click Find. The IT assets that are associated with the selected purchase order are displayed.
