Deleting asset records

You use the Assets application to delete asset records from the database.

About this task

If the asset you want to delete is referenced on an active job plan, a location, a preventive maintenance, a purchase order, a route, a safety plan, or a work order, you cannot delete the asset record.

1. On the List tab of the Assets application, select the asset you want to delete.
2. Select the Delete Asset action, and click Yes.
