You can associate safety information, such as tag-out procedures, hazards, and hazardous materials lists with an asset.

Associating tag out procedures with assets
You use the Assets application to associate tag out procedures with assets. A tag out procedure is a detailed description of how to take work assets out of service or how to place them back into service, to ensure a safe working environment.
Associating hazards with assets
You use the Assets application to add hazards to asset and to location records. When you build safety plans using the Safety Plans application and use those safety plans on work orders, the hazards associated with specific assets and locations are included on the work order.
Associating hazardous materials with assets
You use the Assets application to add hazardous materials to asset records and to location records. When you build safety plans in the Safety Plan application and then use those safety plans in work orders, the hazardous materials associated with specific assets and locations are included on the work order.
