You use the Work Orders module to track the work that has been performed in the past, and future work that is being planned.

A work order is a request for work to be performed. The information that is contained on a work order includes the following:
  • The tasks that were performed
  • The labor hours involved in performing the work
  • The services used, if any
  • The materials used, if any
  • The tools required to do the work
  • The assets worked on
  • The locations where the work was performed
