Impact Analysis Configuration application

Administrators use the Impact Analysis Configuration application to view, modify, and create the rules that are used by the automated impact analysis engine to calculate the impacts of a Change to configuration items (CIs) around your data center. The application displays a list of all of the currently existing rules; when you add a new rule, it is added to the list.

You can also use the Impact Analysis Configuration application to test a new rule that you have created. After you specify the CI that you know is impacted according to the new rule, the impact analysis engine calculates related CIs and displays a list of these CIs.
