Creating data restrictions

Data Restrictions can be created in the Security Group application.

1. Open the Security Groups application, by clicking Open menu > Security > Security Groups.
2. Select the security group.
3. Click on the Data Restrictions tab.
4. Create a new Object Restriction by clicking on the New Row button.
5. Select the object (PMSCOFFERING or PMSCCATALOG ).
6. Select the application (optional).
7. Select the type of restriction (HIDDEN, QUALIFIED, or READONLY).
8. Select the desired condition, or add additional conditions (if required).
   Note: If you are using the conditions that come with Maximo IT, you must create restrictions for both catalogs and offerings.
9. Click Save.
