Related Records Tab
You use the Related Records tab to create, view, or navigate relationships among Service Requests, Incidents, Problems and other records.
When you use the Related Records tab to relate records, you relate them for informational purposes only. These relationships can be many-to-many, and do not represent record hierarchies. Unless they are related to a global record, there is no inheritance of status or other linkage between the current record and the records listed on the Related Records tab. However, the tab gives you an easy way to view and navigate among these informally related records.
You can view other types of related records on the Related Records tab, including globally-related records, an originating record, and follow-up records. In some cases, there can be status inheritance between these records. For more information, see the links at the end of this topic.
