There are a number of predefined reports provided with the product. You can use them to gather information about the assets in your infrastructure, prepare audit information, and monitor the asset lifecycle.

Asset details This report displays the details of an asset. Sections included on the report include:

Sections are included for an asset only if it includes data. Any costs displayed on this report reflect only the costs that have been rolled up to the asset. Asset list This report displays base asset information, but also contains hidden asset fields. These hidden fields are only available to users when downloading report to excel. Asset move history For a single asset, this report displays all its asset move transactions. The transactions are displayed in descending order of Date Moved to enable the user to focus on the most recent moves first. Asset purchase cost rollup This report runs from the Assets application and displays the purchase price for each child asset in an asset subassembly. It also displays a total price of all combined child assets for each asset. Assets assetpurchcost.rptdesign ASSET
Asset purchase order details This report displays purchase order detail for a selected set of assets. The report is grouped by PO number and shows all assets received against the purchase order, including those which were not explicitly selected in the original query. Assets asset_po.rptdesign ASSET

Assets by subassembly item This report allows you to list assets, their location, primary user, and asset tag by Grouped Subassembly Item. Assets asset_subassembly.rptdesign ASSET
Assets not responding This report displays a list of parent assets that have not been scanned for more than the number of days specified in the parameter that the user enters. The report is grouped by classification and includes a pie chart showing the percentage not responding by classification. The report assumes that the reconciliation link rule has been executed. Assignment manager daily format This report uses Unique Daily Calendar View to highlight your workload in hourly increments. It displays the start and end time that the labor is available based on its assigned calendar. Data is displayed in 30 minute increments. Assignment manager monthly format This report uses Unique Monthly Calendar View to highlight your workload by day. If the selected labor is unavailable, for example, due to vacation for an entire day, the entire day is grayed out. It applies to full day unavailability only. Classification details This report displays attribute and other information for a given classification. Classifications class_struct.rptdesign ASSETCAT
Classification hierarchy This report displays classifications and their descriptions in a hierarchical format. Classifications class_hierarchy.rptdesign ASSETCAT
Collection analysis The report is grouped by collection, and it lists assets, locations, and CIs. Collection collection_analysis.rptdesign COLLECTION
Collection list This report shows all the collections that a selected asset, location, or a CI belongs to. The grouping of the data is organized by individual asset, location, or CI. Collection collection.rptdesign COLLECTION
Commodity analysis The bar chart in this report highlights received money by Commodity Group. A page break is used to separate the report details, which are grouped by Commodity Group and Vendor, and highlight items received by purchase order. If commodity group is null, it is not displayed in this report. Additionally, if the received qty = 0 or null (POLINE.RECEIVEDQTY), it is not included. Computers by role This report runs from the Computers application and displays the count of computers by role. Computers computercounts.rptdesign DPLDASSET
Cost by location This report details the maintenance costs by location for an asset and any of its child assets. These costs include material, labor, tool, and service costs that have been rolled up to the asset. Any outstanding costs that have not yet been rolled up to the asset are not included in this report. The asset cost is displayed at its individual level, as well as its individual child level. If a child asset also has child assets, its asset is underlined, and a Y appears in the Additional Children column. Clicking Asset displays an asset cost report for the selected asset. The Total Asset, All Levels row totals the costs of the individual asset and all the costs of its child assets across the applicable levels. Locations asset_maintcost_tbl.rptdesign LOCATION
Cost by system This report details the maintenance costs of a system and any of its child systems. These costs include material, labor and tool costs, and external service receipts. The locations cost is displayed at its individual level, as well as its individual child level. If a child also has a child, its location is underlined, and a Y appears in the Additional Children column. Clicking the location displays a location cost report for the selected location. Deployed asset software details This report is available as a drill-down from the Software Contract Variance or the Managed Software Variance reports. Details of asset failures by location This report is represented by a pie chart, which highlights greatest number of failures by problem code. The report data is sorted in descending order of number of failures, and includes most recent failures and MTBF data for selected Asset. Discovered assets not authorized This report displays a list of computer assets that have been registered in Deployed Assets but failed the reconciliation link to asset. Discovered assets with matching authorized parent This report displays a list of parent assets that have been reconciled (linked) to their discovered counterpart node. Drill down into asset failures This report presents a historical view of downtime hours for the selected problem code. Along with the fail date, the report data also lists the cause and remedy of each problem. There is a hyperlink available on work order number to attain more details about the last failure. Electronic audit transactions This report details the e-Audit transactions within a given time period for selected tables and fields. This report has a unique SQL as it is dynamic, because you can select any auditable database tables and any associated fields within that selected table. It includes a custom E-Audit Table Parameter Lookup created for this report only.
Note: Only eight fields can be entered on this report. Any amount greater than that is not displayed.

Estimated vs actual work order costs This report provides a bar chart on the first page that highlights the estimated versus actual work order costs by labor, materials, tools, and services. Install based audit This report runs from the Licenses application and displays the total license capacity for specific products, the total discovered capacity for computers where the software is installed, and the variance. This report only returns data for products that are associated to Licenses with the capacity unit set to Install based. Inventory ABC analysis This report provides a bar chart that highlights before and after count of ABC Items. Following the graph, the report details are displayed in descending order of YTD issued cost. The ABC values are based on your maxvar settings (A_BREAKPPOINT MAXVAR). The after ABC value is based on the YTD issued cost. The report set includes a second report with database update functionality, so separate report security privileges can be applied if required. Inventory balance This report displays items, quantities available and reserved, and costs for the selected storeroom and site in ascending order by item. Inventory cycle count This report lists items due to be counted in ascending order of Bin. The items with null INVBALANCES.PHYSCNTDATE are not included in the query. Items listed include those where invbalances.physcntdate + inv.ccf <= sysdate. Inventory invcycnt.rptdesign INVENTOR
Inventory EOQ analysis This report displays the EOQ (Economic Ordering Quantity) values of inventory items before and after running the report. The new EOQ value is based on your inputs of Carrying Cost % and Ordering Cost. Item order status For a selected storeroom and site, this report displays outstanding purchase requisitions and purchase orders in ascending order of item number. Job plan hierarchy This report displays job plans and nested job plan tasks through the entire hierarchy. It is a complex report because, unlike work order and location hierarchies, job plan hierarchies are not stored in the database. Job plan list This report lists job plans numbers and descriptions. There is a link to job plan details from Job Plan Number. Kit assemble and disassemble This report displays the transactional outcome of kit assembly or disassembly transactions. It shows the quantity of item kits and subcomponent items that were affected by the transaction including storeroom and bin information. The report is tactical in nature and is intended to give the user the pick list of information needed to put item kits together or break them apart. Title changes depending on kit type. Mainframe value unit audit This report runs from the Licenses application and displays the total license capacity for specific mainframe products, the total discovered capacity (the sum of value units on the computers where the software is installed), and the variance (the total license capacity minus total discovered capacity). Running the report first converts capacity that was originally discovered in MSU to value units and then displays the results in value units. Maintenance cost rollup There are two subreports included in this report set.
  • Maintenance cost rollup displays the work order costs the asset incurred since the date the report was last run. The costs of the assets are rolled up to their parents and any other levels in the asset hierarchy.
  • Cost rollup update contains a listing of the data and updates the V7 Database with the new values.
Report security can be set to determine viewing rights to the subreports.
Note: This is a complex report. Therefore, it is recommended this report be scheduled or executed at 'off-peak' hours.

Managed software variance This report displays the variance between the total count of authorized software titles currently in use versus the count of deployed instances that have the selected matching software title installed. The managed software count combines any software items that are associated to assets as spare parts (non-rotating), child assets associated as subassemblies, or stand alone software assets. Master contract details This report details information associated with Master Contracts. Material requisition detail The report is available from the Self Service Desktop Requisition Application. When you click Print View in the application, the report directly prints to your default printer and displays information about the requested material requisition, including required date, vendor, and line items. MSU based license audit This report runs from the Licenses application and displays the total license capacity for specific products, the total discovered capacity (the sum of MSU on the computers where the software is installed), and the variance (the total license capacity minus total discovered capacity). Open work orders and PM This report lists all open work orders and the next due PM for either the asset, or location. You need to type at least one asset or one location parameter value. The listing of open work orders could include overdue work orders along with others that are planned in the future. Open work orders are defined: not in closed, complete or canceled status. Overall equipment effectiveness by asset This report retains the values of overall equipment effectiveness by site and overall equipment effectiveness by asset. Overall equipment effectiveness values are displayed for the selected asset. Hyperlinks are then available for historical data: 6, 9, 12 or 18 months, along with performance comparisons to other assets within the location. Overall equipment effectiveness by location This report highlights the worst performer first, displays overall equipment effectiveness values for locations within the selected site. Overall equipment effectiveness by site This report displays the overall equipment effectiveness by site for selected month and year. It provides the ability to dynamically refresh data to show either Asset Availability, Performance Efficiency, or Quality Rating. By selecting an individual site, you can drill down into the overall equipment effectiveness location report.
Note: The month parameter accepts values of either 01, Jan or January (all localized).

Person details For the selected person, the report displays a list of active or open person groups, assets, tickets, and work orders that the selected person is currently associated with. If no information exists for the five subheaders (Person Groups, Assets, Contracts, Tickets, or Work Orders), they are not displayed. People person_details.rptdesign PERSON
Person group Grouped by person group, this report displays individuals, primary and all, within the person group. Person Group assignqu.rptdesign PERSONGR
Points based audit This report runs from the Licenses application and displays the total license capacity for specific products. The total discovered capacity is the summary count of computers with the software installed multiplied by the points value specified for each product and the variance. This report only returns data for products that are associated to Licenses with the capacity unit set to Points. Each of the returned totals is hyperlinked to a subreport, which displays details that are used to make up the total.

The report excludes the Deployed Software for which the use exemption was set. You can set the Use Exemptions for Deployed Software in the Deployed Software record. In this case, when you run the report, the Deployed Software data is not processed.

Processor based audit This report displays the processor based license audit information. It runs from the Licenses application. In release 7.2.1, Core Multiplier attribute has been removed, and it now contributes to allocated capacity calculation. Licenses with PROCCORE or PROCS capacity units defined have core multiplier groups assigned. The same software product can be licensed by a different core multiplier group. Processor core based audit This report displays the processor core based license audit information. It runs from the Licenses application. Advancements in processor technology now allow multiple cores on a single chip. As a result, software vendors and manufacturers have started to license products based on the number of cores used to run their licensed software. At present the core multiplier group is used in audit reports to calculate discovered capacity for licenses with PROC or PROCCORE capacity units. In the Licenses application you can use core multiplier groups to assign core multipliers to all the cores allowed in the latest software licensing. Projected PM labor requirements This report displays projected PM labor requirements for the specified number of weeks. It only displays the first unique PM labor requirement because it is not known when actual PM work is performed. The report includes a line chart of total labor requirements by week. Purchase order E-Commerce details This report displays E-Commerce transactions received against an individual purchase order. Purchase order status details For a selected purchase order, this report details purchase order status history, along with material and service receipts.
