Selecting an activity for a ticket
Activities specify the work needed to resolve an incident or a problem. You can select an existing activity from the Activities application and add it to a record.
Procedure
- Display the ticket to which you want to add an activity.
- Click the Activities tab.
- In the Activities table window, click New Row. The system may insert a value in the Work Order field; if so, you can overwrite it. In the Work Order field, click the Detail Menu icon , then select .
- Select an activity work order and click Return With Value. The system copies the activity to the Work Order field of the ticket.
- Fill in additional fields as needed. An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
- Click Save.
