Selecting an activity for a ticket

Activities specify the work needed to resolve an incident or a problem. You can select an existing activity from the Activities application and add it to a record.

Procedure

  1. Display the ticket to which you want to add an activity.
  2. Click the Activities tab.
  3. In the Activities table window, click New Row. The system may insert a value in the Work Order field; if so, you can overwrite it. In the Work Order field, click the Detail Menu icon , then select Open Menu > Go To Activities.
  4. Select an activity work order and click Return With Value. The system copies the activity to the Work Order field of the ticket.
  5. Fill in additional fields as needed. An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
  6. Click Save.
