This section describes the System Administrator tasks to connect Maximo IT to a third
party collaboration platform, Microsoft Teams. This allows Maximo IT users to share
content with each other through Microsoft Teams.
Before you begin
- Before you configure ChatOps in Maximo IT for Microsoft Teams integration, you must ensure you
have created an application in Azure. Refer to Creating an application in Azure.
Procedure

Log in to Maximo IT and go to .

In the MSTEAMS tab, enter Client ID, Client
secret, and Tenant ID that you noted when
you created the Azure application.

In the Team ID, enter the unique Team ID
for the 'Team' that will be used for this integration. Find
the steps to fetch the value for Team ID here: Obtaining value for Team ID

In the Incoming Webhook URL, enter the
URL copied while configuring an incoming webhook for
Microsoft Teams. For more information on setting up webhooks
and fetching value for this field, see Configuring webhook in Teams
application.

For Webhook Secret, enter the Webhook
security token saved at the time of outgoing webhook
configuration. For more details on how to obtain the webhook
secret value, see Configuring an outgoing webhook.

In Channel field, add the name of the
Microsoft Teams channel that you will be using to work with
the tickets.
- Save your changes.

Click Add Teams. You will be redirected to a new window
that will display a message like "Token saved successfully".
Close this window.

Refresh the page.

Log in to Teams with your credentials and it will be ready to
run commands.
