Service view and Service Insights

Service view and Service Insights is a Maximo IT application for IT service management that enables users to deliver reliable and stable services to the business.

The service is constructed of Assets, Configuration items, and other services allowing the users to ensure that the users of the services are getting a reliable and stable system to be productive. Service view is a one stop application that lists the available services for an organization. Administrators can manage all services through this application. They can create and edit a service depending on the requirement.

Service Insights provides further details about a specific service and its related information such as Service components, Incidents, Problems and Changes related to the service, recent updates made to the service.

In another tab, Service details lists more information on the service such as service support details, impacted populations, service composition, the components of what constructs the service and how the service delivers value to the business, etc.

Administrators can open the Service View application through the main menu. Go to Open menu > IT-OT Services > Service view.

Service view can also be accessed via REST API. For more information, see Providing service data to other products.
