Tickets
In Self Serve, as in the classic Maximo IT interface, incidents, problems, and service requests are types of tickets. Many aspects of working with a ticket are similar regardless of the type of ticket.
In Self Serve, any Self service user can report an issue and create a service request . When a user creates a ticket or reports an issue in Self Serve app, a corresponding record is added to the Self Serve database.
Tickets that are created in the classic Maximo IT interface can be displayed and managed in the Self Serve app if they are associated with a Self Serve user.
