Configuration item changes

When you create configuration items, you can change them to suit your business needs.

When you change fields, and add or delete rows, the following rules apply:

• The value in one field can determine if you can change the value in another field.
• If you change the classification, the attributes reflect the new classification.
• If the configuration item is protected, you might not be able to change the value of an attribute.
