Installing Automation Rule Plugin in JIRA

Automation rules are used to perform actions in the service project based on specific triggers and conditions. For example, you can set an automation rule that alerts an user when a high-priority issue is created. Also, a service project can reopen an issue if the customer comments on it once the issue is resolved.

Procedure

  1. On the Manage apps tab, click Find new apps on the navigation panel.
  2. In the search box, search for Automation for Jira and install the app.
    Note: Once Automation for Jira is installed, you can see the installed Automation for Jira app in the Manage apps on the navigation panel.
