Integrating with Microsoft Teams
Maximo IT can be integrated with Microsoft Teams. Using Teams, users can quickly update or submit a ticket via Chatops functionality and save records directly without logging in to Maximo IT user interface.

Microsoft Teams is a cloud-based team collaboration application developed by Microsoft that offers workspace chat and video conferecing with real-time messaging and file storage and sharing. To know more about Microsoft Teams, refer to Microsoft Teams.
ChatOps is added in Maximo IT and integrated with the Microsoft Teams application, allowing users
to share real-time tickets status with other users via Microsoft Teams app. Now with
ChatOps and Teams integration, Maximo IT users can do the following with the
Incidents, Service Requests, and Problems tickets:
- Create ChatOps channel for the ticket
- Assign ChatOps channel to the ticket
- Post the ticket details on the ChatOps channel
As a Teams user, you can configure Webhooks in Teams for the following:
- You can search solutions in the Maximo IT solutions database
- You can search for tickets in Maximo IT based on the search text
- You can update ticket details for Maximo IT tickets
Once the System Administrator configures Maximo IT and enables integration with Microsoft Teams, Maximo IT users will be able to use the ChatOps feature to work with tickets.
