Enable edge devices for the Edge management dashboard
Enable edge devices so that they can be managed in the Edge management dashboard in Maximo Visual Inspection.
For information about enabling edge devices, see Enabling devices for the Edge manager dashboard.
TensorRT support
The following models are converted to NVIDIA TensorRT models at deployment time:
- GoogLeNet
- SSD
- YOLOv3
- Tiny YOLOv3
The TensorRT model conversion results in models that run more efficiently and use less GPU memory.
For more information about TensorRT models, see TensorRT models.
Data push assurance
Images are tagged to indicate that they are successfully pushed to Maximo Visual Inspection.
Images that are not tagged are pushed by a scheduled data push assurance task to the destination that they did not initially reach. Until these images are tagged, they are not deleted during a scheduled purge of data.
Custom pipeline enhancements
The Rule configuration from an inspection in custom pipelines allows multiple inspections to use the same Rule configuration.
The topic of an MQTT Trigger message can be used to determine the components in a pipeline that process an image.
End of support for IBM POWER8®
Starting in Maximo Visual Inspection Edge 8.8, IBM POWER8 is no longer supported. IBM POWER9 is the only supported Power® Systems platform.
