Complete these tasks to help you to manage Maximo® Visual Inspection Edge.

Managing your profile
You can change your password or update the API key that connects Maximo Visual Inspection Edge and Maximo Visual Inspection.
Managing users
If you are an administrator, you can manage users by adding, deleting, or editing user details, changing user passwords, or changing administrative privileges.
Managing data
As an administrator, you can manage data by updating the default data retention policy, updating the data transfer policy, and backing up and purging data.
Backing up and purging data
To prevent the loss of critical data and optimize system performance, cron tasks that back up and purge data are scheduled and run on the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge server. You can customize the schedules for these tasks by updating a settings file.

Enable or disable multiple edge devices for remote monitoring on the Edge manager dashboard in Maximo Visual Inspection.
Unlabeled inspection images
When a model does not detect objects in the images that are generated during an inspection, it cannot apply labels to the resulting images.
