Configuring Maximo® Visual Inspection Edge involves creating stations, inspections, input sources, working with models and more.

Configuration components
Before you create inspections in Maximo Visual Inspection Edge, you must configure several logical components. You create or select stations to contain inspections and then configure input sources to provide images to inspections. If you configure an inspection that runs in inspecting mode, you must select a model to inspect images.
Inspections
Inspections are the central configuration components in Maximo Visual Inspection. An inspection processes images from an input source, such as a camera.
