Data transfer policy

When you are using a locally deployed model in your inspections and a loss of network connectivity occurs, inspections continue to run. However, the collected inspection images are not transferred to Maximo Visual Inspection and are tagged. The data retention policy does not purge tagged images. When network connectivity is restored, the data transfer policy transfers the collected inspection images to Maximo Visual Inspection. The tags are removed so that the data retention policy can purge the images. For more information about purging data, see Data retention policy.

As an administrator, you can update the data transfer policy so that these inspection images are transferred to Maximo Visual Inspection at scheduled intervals after a loss of network connectivity.
