Connecting with the Twilio Messaging Service

When rule conditions are met during an inspection, an alert message is sent to a phone number through the Twilio Messaging Service.

1. In Maximo® Visual Inspection Edge, from the side navigation menu, click Settings and then click Twilio.
2. Enter the account SID, auth token, and service ID details for your Twilio Messaging Service account.
3. In the From number field, enter the phone number that you provisioned in Twilio.
   The from number is the SMS sender ID in the text messages that Maximo Visual Inspection Edge sends through the Twilio Messaging Service.
4. In the Recipient contact number field, enter the phone number of the person that you want to receive the verification messages.
   The phone numbers of the people who receive alert messages are entered when you configure inspection rules.
