IBM Maximo Visual Inspection overview

IBM® Maximo® Visual Inspection includes the tools and interfaces that make computer vision with deep learning more accessible to business users, without the need for coding or deep learning expertise.

An intuitive tool set empowers you to label, train, and deploy deep learning vision models with customized solutions for image classification, object detection, and anomaly detection.

Note: Maximo Visual Inspection was formerly named IBM Visual Insights 1.2.0. Before that it was named IBM PowerAI Vision 1.1.5 and earlier.

Features

Streamlined model training
Use existing models that are already trained as a starting point to reduce the time it takes to train models and improve trained model results.
Single-click model deployment
When you train a model, deploy an API by using one click. Develop applications based on the model that you deployed.
Data set management and labeling
Manage both raw and labeled data.
Video object detection and labeling assistance
Scan imported videos for objects and apply automatic labels.
Anomaly detection
Create a data set with high-quality images of objects that do not have any defects. Train this data set as an anomaly optimized model so that anomalous regions are highlighted as anomalous objects in the inference results. Review the results and determine whether the anomalous objects are defects or not.
