Data collection versus inspection

When you take photos in Collect mode, they are uploaded to a data set in IBM® Maximo® Visual Inspection. The uploaded images can then be labeled and used to train a model, or they can be used to validate a model. You can then "upgrade" your inspection to specify the newly trained model and retain all of the existing settings, for example, the trigger string.

You can collect data for training in either handheld or fixed mode.
