UX in Navigation tool
What UX options are in the Navigation tool? Our foundation IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities Navigation Builder enables you to configure a navigation item to display a collection of forms, results of a query, or hierarchical data. In other words, you can define the navigation items in menus or portal sections to open forms, queries, or tools. Within this foundation tool, you can select a UX option such as the Application option.

I. Application
To support our UX framework, you can select the Application option to open a UX app from a navigation item such as a menu item. For example, if you created a new customized Space or Move app, you can add a new item to your main menu to directly open your new app.
II. Application navigation item
Here are the basic steps to add an Application navigation item:

Open the Navigation Builder tool. Click Add.

Open the Navigation Items Library. Click Add.

Enter or select the item, icon, and target details.
- Select Application from the Target Type drop-down list.
- Select the application from the Application drop-down list.
- Enter the Target Title if needed.

Save the navigation item. Add the item to a navigation collection.
