Setting up equipment services

Set up your inventory items, reservable assets, reservation calendars, and other options in the Inventory Item form, to provide equipment services for room reservations. Then specify the equipment specification in the Reserve tab of the Space form.

Procedure

  1. Select Portfolio > Set Up > Specification > Office Equipment.
  2. Click the Add action.
  3. In the Specification form, specify the details for the equipment specification.
  4. Create the draft.
  5. Activate the record.
  6. Select Inventory > Manage Inventory > Inventory Locations.
    1. Set up your inventory items to create the reservable assets when the items are received in inventory.
    2. To set up your inventory items, see Setting up inventory items.
    3. For the received items, confirm that all assets are reservable and have a reservation calendar.
    4. For the primary locations, confirm that all equipment specifications and buildings are attached.
  7. Select Portfolio > Locations > Spaces.
  8. Open the space record.
  9. In the Space form, specify the details, such as the following:
    1. In the General tab, select the Reservable check box. The Reserve tab appears.
    2. In the Reserve tab, in the Resources and Services section, specify any equipment specifications for a meeting space only.
    3. Specify any other details.
  10. Activate the record.
