Troubleshooting the Gantt scheduler
To troubleshoot issues with the Gantt scheduler, you can enable Gantt logging. Information is logged to the server.log file in the /home/default/log directory on the Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities application servers.
A Verbose option is available for the TreeGrid Debugging option.
To enable logging, perform the following steps.
Step 1. Log in to the IBM® Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Administrator Console.
Step 2. Select Platform Logging.
Step 3. Select the TreeGrid Gantt option or select the logging options that you want individually.
- XML Generation: Logs the XML communication between Maximo Real Estate and Facilities and TreeGrid in the server.log.
- TreeGrid Processing: Logs server activity based on requests from TreeGrid to Maximo Real Estate and Facilities in the server.log.
- TreeGrid Debugging: Enables a debugger that shows JavaScript errors and warnings with the Gantt chart.
- Verbose: Enables verbose TreeGrid debugging.
