Troubleshooting the Gantt scheduler

To troubleshoot issues with the Gantt scheduler, you can enable Gantt logging. Information is logged to the server.log file in the /home/wiotp/log directory on the Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities application servers.

A Verbose option is available for the TreeGrid Debugging option.

To enable logging, perform the following steps.
  1. Log in to the IBM® Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Administrator Console.
  2. Select Platform Logging.
  3. Select the TreeGrid Gantt option or select the logging options that you want individually.
    XML Generation
    Logs the
    TreeGrid Processing
    Logs server activity based on requests from TreeGrid to
    TreeGrid Debugging
    Enables a debugger that shows JavaScript errors and warnings with the Gantt chart.
    Verbose
    Enables verbose TreeGrid debugging.
