Technical roles
The technical user roles are created based on typical business processes.

Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities system administrator | Needs to understand the data flows and connectivity requirements to make sure that Maximo Real Estate and Facilities and Exchange can communicate. (This role is sometimes exemplified with the persona of "Kelly".) |
Maximo Real Estate and Facilities application administrator | Needs to understand the data flows and configurations that are needed in the TRIRIGAWEB.properties file, Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Administrator Console, and Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Application Settings (Reservation Settings) to properly generate mailboxes in Exchange. (This role is sometimes exemplified with the persona of "Oscar".) |
Maximo Real Estate and Facilities application developer (or builder) | Needs to understand the implications to minimum data requirements and Maximo Real Estate and Facilities workflows. May be involved in generating Windows PowerShell scripts in Maximo Real Estate and Facilities to give to the Exchange administrator to provision the room mailboxes in Exchange. (This role is sometimes exemplified with the persona of "Alex".) |
Exchange administrator | Manages the provisioning and administration of mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft 365 or both, depending on whether the customer mail is using on-premise Exchange, Outlook on the web, or a hybrid. May also need to deploy any Outlook add-ins, such as the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Room Search add-in. |
Identity provider (IdP/SSO) administrator | Manages single sign-on (SSO) and user-authentication security and access. |
Network administrator | Manages network connectivity and security. |
