Custom sections

A Custom section in a form builder is a section of a form that is designed to accommodate specific user requirements or preferences. Custom sections are a specialized kind of section that supports URL based applications.

Like other kinds of sections, to create a custom section, select the tab that will contain the section and click the Add Section action. Then set the value of the Type property to Custom Section.

Common section properties includes information about the following properties in a graphics section: Type, Name, Label, Height, Title Bar Color, Visible, Expand Section, Show Title Bar, Style Class, Start Row, Row Span, Start Column, and Col Span. The property in a custom section that is not described in Common section properties follow:

URL

You can add any URL link to display in the custom section.

For example, if you want to add a graphic tab as a custom section, enter the base URL of the graphic tab.

If you want to add URL other than Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities application, then complete URL should be entered.

When publishing this action, a new section is displayed under the selected tab.
