Maximo® Real Estate and
Facilities uses an extract, transform, and load (ETL)
development environment as the mechanism for moving the data from business object tables to fact
tables. In order to present the metrics, reports, scorecards, and other performance measures, the
data must be in a form of fact tables and flat hierarchy tables that the reporting tools can
process.
