Viewing user licenses

The specific set of IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities available to each user is determined by the entitlements assigned to them in Maximo Application Suite. In Maximo Real Estate and Facilities, the administrator users can view the licenses assigned to the users against their entitlements.

About this task

You need administrative access to Real Estate and Facilities to view the licenses and accesses provided by the entitlements assigned to the users in Maximo Application Suite.
Important: A license defines the full set of functional access that is granted from a specific application. A security group defines the specific set or subset of builder tools, modules, business objects (BOs), or UX models that can be accessed within that specific application. Two users might have the same license for an application, but be in different security groups with different functional access within the application. For example, two users might have the same IBM Maximo Reserve license. However, one user might be in the “Request Central - Reserve” group while the other user might be in the Reservation Coordinator group, each with different Reserve functionality.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Maximo Real Estate and Facilities by using your admin privileges.
  2. Go to Tools > Administration > Viewer.
  3. On the License viewer page, to view the license information, click the following tabs:
    Tab Description
    List View

    Displays a list of available Maximo Application Suite entitlements. When you select an entitlement on the List View tab, the user IDs to which the entitlement has been assigned are displayed in the right pane.
    Matrix View Displays the list of available entitlements, licenses, and accesses to the applications and modules.
    Summary

    Provides a summary of the Maximo Application Suite license usage report. You can also select Export Summary to export the summary.
