Supported features

The IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities (formerly Forge Viewer) integration provides visualization of BIM data in the context of the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Assets, Locations, and Work Tasks applications. This section lists the associated features.

IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for Revit

The Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for Revit is used to integrate BIM models authored in Revit with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities.
  • Creates new Maximo Real Estate and Facilities records from model elements.
  • Links model elements to existing Maximo Real Estate and Facilities records. Once linked, a limited set of values can be synchronized between Maximo Real Estate and Facilities and the model.
  • Publishes Floor plans from Revit directly into Maximo Real Estate and Facilities to use in the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities floor plan viewer.
  • Automatically links Rooms in the floor plan to Maximo Real Estate and Facilities spaces created from or linked to Revit rooms.

APS Viewer

The APS Viewer is embedded in Locate and Work Task applications. Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Space and Building Equipment records created from or linked to Revit elements can be selected in the APS Viewer. A full set of model properties are available in the viewer.

BIM Model Management Tool

A UI for administering models with Autodesk Platform Services, which includes the following functions:
  • Managing storage containers (Autodesk Forge Buckets).
  • Uploading models to the Autodesk Platform Services.
  • Translating models into viewable formats.
  • Associating models with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities building records.
  • Managing saved views.
