Upgrade
The Upgrade button only displays on the ribbon if the currently loaded model requires an upgrade.
If the model has been previously integrated with an older version of the Connector, the model must be upgraded to the current Connector version. If the upgrade is from the 1.x version of the Connector, IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities integration data is also upgraded. Until the upgrade is run, the only available tool that interacts with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities is Upgrade. After the upgrade is complete, all the tools normally available are active.
In addition to updating integration data, the upgrade process deletes and recreates the IBM schedules.
Staging records
- Upgrading from Connector version 2.6.0.0 or higher does not change any data of the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities server.
- Upgrading from the 1.x Connector updates: triBIMBuilding, triBIMFloor, and triBIMSpace. It deletes triBIMModel and creates a new instance.
- The application Building, Floor, and Space records are updated to include the Revit Unique ID.
