Reserve properties

The Connector integrates with the IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities Room Reservation functions. The physical characteristics of reservable rooms can be managed from the model. This is done through a combination of the Reserve Properties sheet, and Sync. Reserve properties are stored in Revit Room and Area records as shard parameters.

The parameter values can be shared and updated via the Reserve Property sheet. Model values are pushed to or pulled from Maximo Real Estate and Facilities via Sync. Lists and classifications are read from the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities server the first time the Reserve property sheet is displayed.

  • Name: Reservable name of the rooms. This has a naming rule and is managed by Populate Parameters

  • Reservable: Sets the Reservable flag for the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities space and runs the workflow to show or hide the Reserve tab on the Space form
  • Equipment: The list of equipment present in the room. This is stored in the model as a comma separated list and translated to and from the individual entries in the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities space record by a pair of custom workflow task. This list is configurable.
  • Apply: Updates all the Rooms or Areas in the current selection set.
