Assigning work tasks for picking inventory

As an inventory manager, you can instruct your service technicians to pick parts and equipment from inventory.

1. Select Projects > Set Up > Inventory Pick Work Task and click the Add action.
2. On the General tab, specify the details.
3. On the Work Details tab, select the inventory locations and the material order work tasks.
4. Specify the inventory items that are picked and the inventory location for staging.
5. Click Activate.

Results

The service technician sees the work task for picking inventory on the task list.
