Object migration overview

You migrate objects from one Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities environment to another by using the platform Object Migration tool.

You first create an export package of selected objects and write them to a file. You then import that file into the target environment.

To migrate newer versions of objects that you previously migrated, reuse the package that you previously created and repeat the steps.
