Viewing drawings

You can optimize your drawings for online or print viewing. In addition, you can download a drawing, and export it to PDF.

When you click a drawing ID in the list, the drawing view is displayed, In the Select section, you can apply a number of options to a drawing:

1. Select the theme that you want to apply to the drawing in Graphic Themes menu. A theme controls the appearance of an attached drawing by applying a label style or label filter, and a graphic report.
   For example, an Occupancy theme might use personnel label style and run an occupancy status graphic report.
2. Select the label that you want to apply to the drawing in Graphic Labels menu. By default, the label that is associated with the selected graphic theme is displayed.
   For example, applying Occupancy label style displays the names of the people who occupy the spaces of a floor.
3. Adjust the size of the labels with Label Size slider.
4. Select the preferred graphic report in the Graphic Reports menu. By default, the report that is associated with the selected graphic theme is displayed.
   For example, applying Occupancy status report applies colors to the spaces based on the occupancy status. The system applies the selected graphic report to the drawing.
5. See all available legend details by selecting Show Full Legend check box. The details shown depends on the combination of the selected graphic report and themes.
6. See all printable legend details by selecting Show Printable Legend check box. When you export the drawing to the PDF format, the printable legend is exported along with the drawing. The details shown depends on the combination of the selected graphic report and themes. The printable legend can be dragged to position it in the drawing.
7. Adjust the size of the legends with Legend size slider.
8. In the Legend tab, select which legend elements to display. For example: If a Space Class report is displayed, unchecking a legend entry hides or clears all of the spaces with that Space Class.

From the toolbar, you can:

9. Show or hide layers in the drawing by clicking Layers icon and selecting or clearing check boxes for the available layers.
10. View the drawing attributes, such as Source Path, Drawing Units and External References, by clicking Attributes icon.
11. Enable access to open a space record by clicking Open Record icon, and select a space in the floor plan. The records are displayed based on the selection under Settings > Open Record Window Location.
12. Export the drawing to PDF format by clicking Export to PDF icon. You can select or modify the details such as title, layout, or sheet that you want to export. The printable legend table is exported along with the drawing.
13. Download the drawing to your local computer by clicking Download icon.
14. Delete a drawing by clicking Delete icon. When the drawing is deleted, it is removed from the Drawing Manager and cannot be retrieved.
15. View the drawing into a bigger size by clicking Full Screen icon.
