Administering admin users, agents, and processes
In the Administrator Console, you can use the Admin Users tab to
view the access rights of your users. You can use the Agents tab to view the
process agents. You can use the Caches tab to refresh any specific cache
items. You can use the System Info tab to configure the system properties.
You can use the Thread Settings tab to control the threads that are started
for each agent, and the Workflow Agent Info tab to designate users for a
workflow agent.
Admin user management
The Admin Users tab displays all users in the IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities system and their access rights to the Administrator Console.
AES encryption
IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities encrypts any third-party credentials that it stores in the database with AES encryption.
Agent administration
Agents perform background processes, such as cleaning up data, running workflows, and calculating formulas. You can manage and configure your agents in the Agents tab of the Administrator Console.
Cache management
The application server, on which IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities is deployed, stores data values, which are normally stored in the database, in its cache memory. These data values do not change often. But when they do change, such as in a development environment, you can refresh any specific cache items to retrieve the new values from the database and store them in cache memory.
System information
The System Info tab provides access to the system properties files, contains a tool for encrypting values to be used in the properties files, and shows detailed information about the IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities system.
Threads management
To control the number of threads that are started for each agent, use the Threads Manager in the Administrator Console.
Workflow agents
Workflow agents pick up and process workflow events that are published by their designated users and groups.
