Upgrading CAD drawings from previous version

After the upgrade process, the CAD drawings that are attached to version 13.5 of IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities Connector for CAD must be upgraded to work with version 14.0. After you upgrade the drawings, they can be used only with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for CAD , version 14.0.

Before you begin

Ensure that all drawings that were attached with version 13.5 of Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for CAD are backed up before you upgrade the drawings from version 13.5 to version 14.0.

About this task

After the upgrade process, Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for CAD automatically upgrades each CAD drawing individually when you open a drawing. For the upgrade to occur, you must wait for Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Connector for CAD to load completely in your CAD application before you open the drawing.
