Viewing Maximo Real Estate and Facilities data

Each tool in the View section launches the IBM® Maximo® Real Estate and Facilities application in the default browser using the credentials and server definition used for the Connector login.

Property panel

The Maximo Real Estate and Facilities property panel is a property sheet style display of Maximo Real Estate and Facilities data for model elements that are integrated with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities.

This image shows the Property panel.

It can be displayed or hidden by using the Properties button on the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities ribbon.

It functions similar to the Revit element property pane; in that it is dockable, and the data displayed in the panel tracks the Revit selection. When initially displayed, the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities property panel is displayed with the Revit Element property panel. If it is subsequently moved, its location is stored with the model and its position is restored when the model is reopened. Property panels have four panels, as described in the table below:
Model Description
Property display If a single element is selected and that element is integrated with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities, the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities data for the element is displayed in a property sheet style interface.
A blank screen If no element or more than one element is selected, the screen is blank with only the banner with the element name.
Not integrated If a single element is selected, and the element is not integrated with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities, an image and message are displayed indicating so.
Error If there is an error loading either the report definition required by the element type, or the Maximo Real Estate and Facilities record data for the selected element, an error screen with the error is displayed.
Property sheets are available for all elements that can be integrated with Maximo Real Estate and Facilities. This includes Levels, Rooms, Spaces, and Components of supported categories. It also includes Levels and Spaces in a linked model that are linked to Maximo Real Estate and Facilities records created from a primary model. Maximo Real Estate and Facilities data is drawn from user configurable queries. See Configuring to BIM Connector.
Property data is displayed in three columns:
  • The localized column name from the supporting query.
  • The field value for the selected record.
  • If the field has an associated unit of measure, the units for the field.
Fields that have a value of null or 0 are not displayed. Displayed fields are sorted by query section and localized section headers are displayed.
