Adding data from Ignition

You can ingest data from Ignition into the data lake.

About this task

To ingest data from Ignition, complete the following high-level steps:

Procedure

  1. Download and install the IBM® Maximo® Application Suite SCADA historian connector. You download the connector file from GitHub. For more information, see GitHub.
  2. Create a .csv file that contains the tag data. For more information, see Connection Configuration.
  3. Create and configure the connection and mapping configuration files. The connection file is used to connect the SCADA historian database and IBM Maximo Application Suite. The mapping file is used to map tag data to devices and a device type. For more information, see Connection Configuration and Mapping rules configuration.
