Deployment of a package to its source environment

You can create a package that includes a set of configuration records for a defined environment and then deploy that package to the same environment.

If you distribute the package as a compressed file, you can then deploy it to its source environment if either of the following conditions is met:

• The package definition has been deleted.
• All the packages that are based on the original package definition no longer exist in the source environment.
