Configuring Maximo Mobile application settings on Windows with a mobile device manager

You can configure Maximo® Mobile application settings by using a mobile device manager such as Microsoft Intune.

Procedure

  1. Install the Microsoft Intune Company Portal on to your Windows device, and then add the device to the Microsoft Intune cloud service.
  2. From the Microsoft Intune Company Portal, create a device profile.
  3. Create an Open Mobile Alliance Uniform Resource Identifier (OMA-URI) string that contains your Maximo Mobile application settings.

    IBM.maximomobile_g3wa7ntxr36nc is the Maximo Mobile package name to use with Maximo Application Suite, IBM.maximomobile-eam_g3wa7ntxr36nc is the Maximo Mobile package name to use with Maximo Asset Management.
  4. Synchronize the profile with all relevant Windows devices.
  5. Synchronize the Windows device in the Microsoft Intune Company Portal.
